The Nude – as the classical subject of art par excellence – confers to me the greatest possible range within my work in terms of converting expressiveness, aesthetics and harmony into sculpture. It is my primary goal to depict the human body within the scope of different thematic aspects. Hence, my work is characterized by a precise elaboration, accurate in every detail.

My personal impulse in developing this traditional subject of sculpture, which belongs to the cultural sphere of Christianity, derives above all from the idea of conferring to the Corpus Christi an expression of confidence and peace. Within this context an imprtant role is assigned to the study of anatomy, as well as to the search for aesthetics and harmony in the human body.
